Several different compounds are considered tear gas. The mostcommon are:

  • chlorobenzylidenemalononitrile (CS)
  • chloroacetophenone (CN)
  • chloropicrin (PS)
  • bromobenzylcyanide (CA)
  • dibenzoxazepine (CR)

We are qualified to remediate any of these gases in homes, furnishings, and belongings. We use a plethora of techniques to remediate hazardous gases such as the use of High pH alkaline solution, abrasion, and moisture mitigation. We also know to check HVAC systems for contaminants to avoid prolonged exposure. While tear gas is designed to be a temporary impairment, it can have some harmful, longing effects if left untreated. It’s important for individuals exposed to any form of tear gas to properly remove and dispose of their clothing and cleanse themselves.
